ROBOTECH:
INVASION
Robotech's
New Generation (Mospeada) launches into action as a large scale war erupts
against the Invid in ROBOTECH: INVASION, a 5-issue miniseries
written by Jay Faerber & Ken Siu-Chong with art by Takeshi Miyazawa
and Omar Dogan! Issue #1 features two covers: one by legendary Mospeada
designer and Final Fantasy artist Yoshitaka Amano (SANDMAN: DREAM
HUNTERS), and a second by Cully Hamner (RED, BATMAN: TENSES)!
In
the year 2038, Earth has fallen to the fearsome forces of the mysterious
Invid race, and Admiral Hunter's expeditionary force is about to unleash
its first strike to reclaim their homeworld! Lieutenant Lance Belmont,
also known as "Lancer," is a young hotshot pilot at the forefront
of this audacious plan, which will unfold in unexpected directions with
intrigue, treachery and explosive mecha action!
Plus,
each issue of ROBOTECH: INVASION will feature a chapter of the Macross
Saga adventure “Mars Base One,” which takes place 35 years earlier as
the United Earth forces begin building the first top-secret colony on
Mars. Karl Riber, protege of the legendary Dr. Lang and the first fiance
of Lisa Hayes, leads the construction of this immense new scientific base
with technology retrieved from the SDF-1. However, Riber will uncover
a covert military plot that could spark war with the Zentraedi much sooner
than expected!
