SLEEPER

When your only friends are enemies and all the good guys think you're a traitor, how far will you go to survive?

Click For Larger Image     That’s the question posed in SLEEPER #1, the first issue of an ongoing WildStorm Eye of the Storm series from acclaimed creators Ed Brubaker (CATWOMAN, GOTHAM CENTRAL) and Sean Phillips (HELLBLAZER, WILDCATS) that takes a hard-hitting look at life on the wrong side of the law.

Holden Carver, also known as the Conductor, is one of the scariest people in the entire world. An elite member of an organization of post-human criminals, Holden has seen and done things most people only glimpse in their darkest nightmares. He's sold alien technology to terrorists, he’s killed innocents and sold their souls on the Internet, and he's about to come face to face with the true secrets of life on Earth. There’s just one problem — Holden is actually a deep-cover agent, and the only person who knows he's really one of the good guys is lying in a coma in a secret government base. Now Holden is on his own in enemy territory with no way out.

SLEEPER is a mature look behind the scenes of an organization of super-villains, in the spirit of The Sopranos and Donnie Brasco!

This project is supported with house and trade ads.

SLEEPER is an ongoing WildStorm Eye of the Storm series edited by Scott Dunbier and is suggested for mature readers. The 32-page issue #1 arrives in comic-book shops January 22 with a cover price of $2.95 U.S.

ROBOTECH: THE MACROSS SAGA Volume One
TRADE PAPERBACK

Robotech stands as one of the premiere animated sci-fi series of the 1980s, one that helped usher in a new era of cartoons in which drama, romance and character development were as important as action.

Click For Larger Image     ROBOTECH: THE MACROSS SAGA Volume One reprints the first six issues of Comico’s initial Robotech series as well as supplemental bonus material in a 176-page trade paperback. Written by Carl Macek and Jack Herman, with art by fan-favorite Dave Johnson, Neil Vokes, Mike Leeke, Reggie Byers, Chris Kalnick and Jeff Dee, and featuring a cover of original series production art, this is the first of six volumes that will reprint the entire Comico run, which itself was an adaptation of the Robotech television series.

ROBOTECH: THE MACROSS SAGA Volume One begins as an alien spacecraft — the SDF-1 — crash-lands on Earth, creating a global impact that leaves humanity waiting for the aliens to return. As mankind prepares to defend itself from an impending invasion and rebuild the SDF-1, the story of Rick Hunter, Lin Minmei, Roy Fokker and others unfolds.

This project is supported with house ads.

ROBOTECH: THE MACROSS SAGA Volume One is a 176-page WildStorm trade paperback arriving in comic-book stores January 22 with a cover price of $14.95 U.S.
